FYJC 2025–26 Science Admission: Part II – Step-by-Step Guide to Filling the Option Form
Now that you’ve successfully completed Part I of the FYJC admission process—which includes student registration, uploading documents, and payment—you are eligible to proceed to Part II, where you will fill in your Option Form. This is the most crucial step where you select and prioritize the junior colleges you wish to take admission in for the Science stream.

Here is a step-by-step explanation of how to fill the Option Form (Part II).
Steps 1 to 3: Login and Choose Junior Colleges
Step 1: Login to the FYJC Portal
To begin, visit the official FYJC admission portal at mahafyjcadmissions.in/landing. Click on the "Login" tab and enter your username and password that you created during Part I registration. Once you log in, you will be directed to your personal dashboard.
Step 2: Select Stream and Medium
On your dashboard, you will be prompted to select your academic stream and medium of instruction. Choose “Science” as your preferred stream and “English” (or your respective medium) as the language of instruction. This selection ensures you are shown only relevant colleges offering the Science stream in your chosen medium.
Step 3: Choose Junior Colleges
Now, click on the “Choose Jr. Colleges” tab from the dashboard. You can search for colleges by either entering the college name or using their UDISE code (a unique identification number assigned to each institution). Once the desired college appears in the search results, click on the “Add” button to include it in your preference list. You can add multiple colleges at this stage.
Steps 4 to 6: Arrange, Review and Lock Your Preferences

After you have added all your desired colleges, it is time to arrange them in the order of your preference. Use the arrow buttons next to each college name to shuffle and prioritize them. Your top-choice college should be listed first. This step is very important, as the allotment process will be based on your merit and the order of preferences saved here. Once done, don’t forget to click on the “Save Choices” button to confirm the order.
Step 5: Review and Lock the Form
Once you have saved your preferences, review the entire list and all the selections thoroughly. Double-check the college names, their order, and ensure everything is as you want it. When you are completely satisfied with your choices, click on the “Lock the Application Form” option. This action is final. After locking, no changes can be made to your list of colleges. Only limited personal information (like mobile number, email ID, password, and security question) can be edited later.
Step 6: Confirmation on Dashboard
After locking your form, your dashboard will update automatically and show the status of your application along with the final list of college preferences you submitted. This confirms that your Option Form for FYJC Science has been submitted successfully.

After the Option Form is locked, the next step is to wait for the merit list announcements and college allotments. These will be based on your marks, preferences, and reservation categories (if any).
