Endowed with a gift of good academic career, C. S. Deshpande completed his Inter Science Examination in 1950 from Willingdon College, Sangli with a spectacular performance by standing FIRST in the University, winning all the University prizes and scholarships in all the subjects and creating records in Mathematics and in Aggregate total marks. (The 2nd rank student was behind him by as many as 70 marks i.e. by 10%).
After completing his B.E. (Electronics and Telecom.) from the College of Engineering, Pune, he joined the prestigious T.I.F.R. (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) in 1954 as a research scholar in Nuclear Particle Accelerator Section. His name was specially recommended by his principal to Dr. Homi J Bhabha, the noted scientist and the founder of TIFR In the following year, he appeared at the I.E.S. ( Indian Engineering Services) Examination and secured the top rank in this All India Competitive examination. He was posted in the I.R.S.E. (Indian Railway)
Counsel students on Vidyalankar's course offering and convert enquiries to enrolments. Contribute to the overall sales target by maintaining a constant communication channel with students in person and through the phone, email, and WhatsApp. Work with the Centre Coordinator and Sales Manager to execute BTL activities in the centre and surrounding schools and colleges.
Create awareness about the benefits of studying abroad and about programs available by conducting seminars and events across colleges. Understand and communicate the value proposition of our services. Achieve the sales target through consistent follow ups, referral admissions and counselling sessions.
Preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit and loss, Directors Report, Cash Flow Statements, Finalization of accounts, Preparation of Details for Tax Audit. Maintenance of Bank Book, Cash Book, Journal Registers, Petty Cash Book, Ledgers, Bank Reconciliation Statements, Fees Collection Registers, etc. Timely deduction and Payment of TDS, GST, EPF, PT, IT, etc. and filing of various Returns i.e. TDS, GST, EPF, PT, IT, ROC etc.
Drive identified initiatives in the zone to achieve the overall sales objectives. Identify the critical/burning issues of the zone affecting sales & take remedial action/ escalate wherever needed. Continuously identify gaps in the regular working of Centre managers, Team leaders and counsellors at respective centres, marketing Executives & sales support staff and remedy the situation without allowing it to damage the business.
